BAIL BY PHONE
Most Pima County bail bonds transactions can be handled over the phone with paperwork being sent via email, fax, or in some cases text. Payments can be made via credit card, debit card, wired funds, Zelle, or direct bank deposit (Chase, Wells Fargo, BOA, or National Bank of Arizona). We try to simplify the process as much as possible, we know your main objective is to get your friend or family member out of jail. We don't like to bog you down with paperwork. We believe the simplest way of dealing with a bond is with the entire bail amount and fee being paid with cash or credit cards. Using personal property for bonds under $10,000 is a slow cumbersome process and requires more paperwork and time. Cash, credit cards, or bank deposit is the preferred method. However, Tucson bail bonds that are $10,000 or greater can be secured with both qualified real estate (homes), or with cash/credit card charges.

Large Bail Bonds - $10,000 or greater
Our Pima County bail bond agents have posted some of the largest bail bonds in the state. Typically a bondsman considers any bond that is equal to, or greater than, $10,000 to be a large bond. When dealing with large bonds of this size, families are required to come up with large sums of money and collateral to cover a bail bond out of Pima County. More times than not, this will require a coordinated effort of multiple parties in order to have the proper collateral for the bond. Our in depth of knowledge in real estate and other forms of acceptable collateral is what allows us to close transactions faster than our competition. Our Pima County bail bonds agents are experts in expediting the process to secure release of your loved one from jail. No matter how dire the situation may appear at first, we will work relentlessly to exceed your expectations and navigate any difficult situation that may arise. Learn more about Large Bail Bonds.
Cash Bail Bonds
Sometimes the court may issue a bail amount that can only be paid in cash. This means that the entire bail amount must be delivered in cash in order to secure the release of the inmate. Cash bonds are different than the Surety bonds that most bail bond companies are used to dealing with. Most Pima County bail bond companies cannot, or will not, post a cash only bond because they must use their cash to post it. Our company has posted cash bonds for many years at the Pima County jail; we can either post our cash, or yours by acting as your agent. If we are posting our cash you must have qualifying collateral. Premium fees, where you are paying the entire bail amount with cash, are approximately 10% of the bail amount. Premium fees with Pima County Bail Bonds putting up the cash would be 30-50% depending on the quality of your collateral.
Zelle Deposits
A popular method offered through most banks is an application called Zelle. Zelle is accessed through your bank’s online portal and allows you to instantly transfer as much as several thousand dollars. The dollar limit is set by each bank, i.e., Wells Fargo – $2,500; BOA – $2,500; Chase personal checking – $2,500; Chase business – $5,000. First, you must set up your Zelle account online with your bank, a very simple process. We provide you with our phone number, dollar amount and name and you input that information in the online Zelle application. Zelle will immediately transfer funds from your bank account to ours.
Credit Card Bail Bonds
Credit card transactions are one of the quickest and easiest ways to secure Pima County bail bonds. Often credit card payment are the only way for people to secure a bond in a timely fashion. For clients not close to the jail, or ones that are out of state, this is one of the fastest methods available. One of the simplest means of posting any bond is by using a credit card, and this is the best way to pay bail after hours as banks are closed. Once the criminal court proceedings are finished, the bond will be exonerated by the court and the bail amount will be returned to the client (premiums and fees are non-refundable). Credit card processing fees will also apply. Learn More about Credit Card bail bonds.
Direct Bank Deposits
One of the fastest and surest way to purchase a bail bond is through a cash deposit into one of our Pima County bail bonds accounts. Cash funds may be deposited directly into one of our bank accounts. If you bank at one of the banks below, you can also do a direct transfer from your account into ours. If you bank at another bank, you may get a cashiers check and deposit funds into one of out accounts. In most cases the confirmation of a deposit into our bank account will be instantaneous, although in some cases other states may not clear the transaction for up to 24 hours. Transaction processing times of large cash deposits require confirmation with the financial institution prior to making a deposit. We have the ability to accept deposits to one of the following major banks.
- Bank of America
- Chase
- Wells Fargo
- National Bank of Arizona
Although these financial institutions are major worldwide banks, they may not be available in your area. If none of these are available to you, or if the time it will take for the transaction to clear is not fast enough, you may wire the funds directly from your bank or credit union to ours. Additional fees may apply, please see the information below pertaining to this type of transaction. Wired funds can take a few hours to process, and depending on the time it was initiated, it can sometimes not get final clearance until the next business day.
Bank Wire Deposits
Wiring funds from one financial institution to another is not a hard process to go through, and can be done from any bank or credit union. This type of transaction is the preferred method in instances where none of the banks that we use are available in your area for direct cash deposit. In order to wire funds directly to our Pima County bail bonds agent you will need our routing number for your bank to use. This method of bond processing can take a few hours before the deposit will show in our account. Transactions that occur after 2:00 PM Eastern time will not be available until the following BUSINESS DAY. Funds must clear both institutions prior to a bond being processed in Pima County. Most banks and credit unions will charge a nominal fee for the wire transfer. Please consult with your financial institution on their rules and time frame for clearing the funds.
